About The Event
This friendly workshop is a perfect introduction to the ancient craft of willow weaving, and is suitable for all experience levels. You will have the freedom to play with different weaves or borders if you have some experience and would like to try something new. This will be a small group, so you will have plenty of time for 1-1 moments, to talk about the cultivation and preparation of the materials, the tools we use and how to find them, and to answer any other questions you may have about this super versatile craft.
PLEASE NOTE: you may find the craft difficult if you have restricted mobility or underlying pain or weakness in your hands. Feel free to get in touch to discuss in more detail if you have concerns about your ability – I will never turn anyone away and I admire some determination.
