DAILY VISITS

Duncarron is open every day from 10am to 5:30pm (last entry at 3:30pm) for guests who would like to explore the medieval village on their own at a leisurely pace. We have a self-guided tour which explains more about the fort itself as well as some history around the project. 

To reserve your ticket you can book online or stop by our ticket office on the day!

OUTLANDER TOURS

Duncarron Medieval Village presents daily guided Tours with our passionate Scottish guides to show you around the Village that was used as the Fort Ticonderoga set in the beloved Outlander Series, Season 7 and many other film and Tv Productions.

Enjoy an insight into how Duncarron was built by volunteers over the last 25 years and the many interesting stories they have to tell about the Villages involvement in various film Projects.

ABOUT DUNCARRON

A LABOR OF LOVE

SINCE 2004

Located in the Carron Valley on the eastern end of the Carron Valley Reservoir, near Stirling. The medieval village has been built with the help of volunteers from all walks of life, and is intended to preserve and disseminate Scottish culture and heritage through education, active participation and entertainment.

Daily entry tickets are available at the link below and may also be purchased at our ticket office on site. Tickets for special events must be purchased ahead of time.

A question we get regularly is if Duncarron is accessible. Yes we are! The terrain can be uneven when wet but can be navigated with assistance when that's the case. Disabled parking is also available!

PARKING
OPTIONS

Parking is free for anyone who purchases daily entry tickets to visit Duncarron under the "Visit Duncarron" tab. When you arrive, just continue through the pay and display forestry lot and follow the signs to our private car park.

HOUNDS

Dogs are welcome at Duncarron as long as they are kept on a lead at all times and all no. 2's are collected and disposed of properly.
